yesterday and response from the members have been very enthusiastic. The sub-group on HK's political system is the most popular and has attracted 63 BLCC members. The one on finance and economy attracted 51 members. Next come the sub-group on rights, freedom and obligation as well as the sub-group on culture, science, education and religion, both of which have 50 members. Forty-six members applied to join the sub-group on the relationship between the Central Government and the HK SAR, 17 applied for the sub-group on the legal system, 19 for the sub-group on foreign affairs, and 13 for the one on the structure of
the Basic Law.
