as to ensure convergence between the political
system here and the Basic Law.
BLCC member Man Sai-cheong: The 1987 political review should not be postponed.
(report) BLDC vice- chairman David Li: ̧ Irresponsible criticism directed at Basic Law drafting will undermine public confidence and impede the drafting work. The controversy surrounding the first draft of the structure of the Basic Law is a result of such "irres- ponsible criticism".
