Some BLDC members have proposed to set up a "HK SAR Office" along the line of the HK and Macau

Affairs Office and also

a liaison office in the central government. The thinking is that such a tripartite structure comprising the central liaison office, the SAR office, and the SAR government will exert checks and balances on one another.
