BLCC deputy secretary

general Siu Sin-bor: He hopes residents will write to the BLCC

secretariat before the end of March to express their views on the Basic

Law.

BLDC member Justice Simon Li: He will attend a seminar organises by the BLCC to be held on March 14 to explain how the Assessment Office worked in the past so that BLCC members can consider how to canvass public views on the Basic Law. As there are already NPC and CPPCC delegates sitting on the BLDC, BLDC members need not be appointed to sit on these bodies.
