(report) Ming Pao: Senior Exco Unofficial Sir Sze-yuen Chung, on behalf of Umelco members and through BLDC vice- chairman Sir Y.K. Pao, has made enquiries with the NCNA HK branch about the possibility of having a formal meeting with Chinese official Lu Ping during his recent visit to HK. But NCNA's reply is that this will not be appropriate as such a meeting will be too sensitive.
