Intersection of Castle Teak Road and Kwai Chung Roads,

Improvement Stage II

Notice is hereby given that the Secretary for lands and Works

proposes to execute the works shown on Plan Nos. TWCE/828A and TWCE/829

and described in the scheme annexed thereto, which plans and scheme have

been deposited in the Land Office.

The general nature of the works is as follows :-

The construction of a three-level intersection including two

2-lane flyovers, one running N-S on the line of Kwai Chung Road and Cheung

Wing Road and one rumming E-W on the line of Castle Teak Road; the con-

struction of a footbridge system at the intersection, an elevated walkway

on the west side of Kwai Chung Road and a subway under Castle Teak Road

i connecting to Yiu Wing Lane; the widening of Kwai Chung Road, Castle Peak

Road and Cheung Wing Road including additional traffic signalination; and

the permanent closure and reprovisioning of a section of Kwong Fai Circuit.

The plans and scheme may be inspected by members of the public

free of charge at the Central and Western District Office, Central Enquiry

Sub-Office, Central Government Offices, West Wing, Main Entrance Lobby,

Hong Kong; at the District Lands Office, Tsuen Wan, 10th Floor, Tsuen Wan

Station Multi-storey Carpark Building, 174-208 Castle Peak Road, Tsuen Wan,

New Territories; at the Tsuen Wan District Office, Kwai Chung Sub-District

Headquarters, 10th Floor, Kwai Hing Government Offices, 166-174 Hing Fong

Road, Kwai Chung, New Territories and at the Tuen Wan District Office,

Kwai Chung Sub-District Headquarters, Tsing Yi Sub-Office, 113 Ching Mai.

House, Cheung Chẳng istate, Thing Yi, New Territories during the following

hours when those offices are normally open to the public.
