The Government announced today a further series
of senior directorate movements and appointments.

Mr John Todd, currently Director of
Lands, is to be appointed Secretary
for Housing in April.
Mr Freddie PANG Yuk-ling, who has acted
as Secretary for Housing in addition to
his substantive duties as Director of
Housing since August 1985, will continue
to be the Director of Housing.
Dr John Riddell-Swan will be retiring
from the civil service in March this
year. Dr Riddell-Swan has been Director
of Agriculture and Fisheries since
February 1980.
Dr Lawrence LEE Hay-yue will succeed
Dr Riddell-Swan as Director of Agriculture
and Fisheries. Dr Lee is currently
Deputy Director of Agriculture and Fisheries.
