Mr. CHAU Cham-son, JP

Aged 53. Mr. Chau joined the civil service in January 1960

as an Assistant Planning Officer. He served in various senior posts

in the Lands Department before becoming Principal Goverment Town

Planner in 1978. He was appointed on transfer as Director of

Building Development in January 1984.

Mr. Kemeth KWOK Wai-kai, JP

Aged 54. Mr. Kwok joined the civil service in April 1960

as an Engineer. He had served in the Highways Office and the

Civil Engineering Office of the Engineering Development Department

before his posting to the New Territories Development Department in

1980. He was promoted to the rank of Director of New Territories

Development in January 1986.

Mr. Joseph LEI Meng-can, JP

Aged 55. Mr. Lei joined the civil service in June 1955

as an Assistant Architect. His career has been spent entirely

in the Architectural Office of the Building Development Department.

He was promoted to the rank of Principal Goverment Architect in

January 1984.
