The Government announced today a further series of
senior directorate appointments and movements as follows
Mr. CHAU Cham-son will be Director of Buildings
and Lands. Mr. Chau has been Director of Building
Development since January 1984.
Mr. Kenneth KWOK Wai-kai will be Director of
Territory Development.
Mr. Kwok has been Director
of New Territories Development since January 1986.
Mr. Joseph LET Meng-can will be Director of
Architectural Services. Mr. Lei has been Principal
Government Architect since January 1984.
The above appointments will take effect on 11 April 1986
when the reorganisation of the Lands and Works Group of Departments
will be implemented.
Dr. Richard Butler, the Police Administration
Officer, will take over from Mr. Colin Greenfield
as Commissioner for Census and Statistics this month.
Mr. Colin Greenfield will become the Government's
Data Processing Manager.
Mr. Keith Broadbridge, currently a Deputy Secretary
in Transport Branch, will take over from Mr. Butler
as the Police Administration Officer in the Royal
Hong Kong Police.
