Overtime and Related Allowances

The Finance Committee accepted the financial implications for the implementation of the recommendations

in the Standing Commission's Report and the new arrangements for overtime and related allowances will be implemented on

1 June.

Housing Assistance for Civil Servants

17.

As at 30 April some 8,000 applications under the

Home Purchase Scheme and 232 applications under the Housing

Loan Scheme had been approved since the inception of the

two schemes. Another 464 applications under the Home

Purchase Scheme are being considered.
