Their most recent project is the
construction of a

multi-purpose
training centre at Hei Ling Chau closed camp which is nearly
completed.
They have also appointed a new full-time educational
coordinator for both open and closed camps.
It is
is likely that the
Hong Kong Government will expect UNHCR to foot most of the bill for
an y further improvements that are made to educational and training
facilities in response to recommendation 3 of the SCORRI report
(there would be strong resistance in Hong Kong to any proposal that
the Hong Kong Government should pay).
