Many thanks for your letter of 7 June. It was most good of you to go to the trouble of sending me (to close my Hong Kong file here!) a copy of the Governor's letter and Mr. Justice Simon Li's minute about the destruction of the individual submissions to the Assessment Office. As it happens, I had an air letter from Mr. Justice Li, and in reply I expressed my admiration of the care that he had very properly taken.

I very much hope that your summer will be 'more relaxing' this year.
