My correspondence was prompted by the sad

experience of one of my colleagues Mr CHOW Kwok-chuen

(born 29 June 1949 in Hong Kong) who was told by a

travel agency in London that he required a visit visa for France which was duly issued to him (I enclose a xerox copy of his visa) and also by my desire to get once again confirmation in writing that visit visas are not required by holders of BDTC passports

order.

The enclosures are listed in chronological

I should be grateful if you would inquire from the French Embassy in London why they are still issuing visit visas to holders of BDTC passports.
