Service for Gurkha Soldiers
Further to your letter dated 10th May 1972 and 3 subsequent conversation Mr. Montgomery/writer, this is to inform you that I have written to Messrs, HK-TVB informing them that they have permission to enter onto the new site prior completion of the formalities of grant in order that they can erect the aerial so that they are in a position to hand over the old station to you by the 1st of June. It is understood that you have already entered into negotiations direct with Messrs. HK-TVB for the purchase of any installations which might be of use to you.

Action will now commence on the preparation of a Memorandum of Appropriation for the old translator stafion - which you are taking over, and until this has been completed, there is no objection to your holding the buildings at your. own risk.
