* BLDC member Liu Yiu-chu: As HK's political system after 1997 will be stipulated by the Basic Law, political reforms here before 1997 should take into consideration the views of the BLDC to

ensure a smooth changeover.

Ching Po: It agrees with Chief Secretary Sir David Akers-Jones that Legco members who are also BLDC and BLCC members can help enhance communication
