Ming Pao: The proposed method of forming the consultative committee represents a compromise which is in line with the spirit of the Joint Declaration.
Wen Wei Po: The assistance provided by the NCNA HK branch in forming the consultative panel is well-intentioned and it has not interfered with the decisions of the drafting committee members.
