Over the years the Certificate of Identity has achieved a

high reputation and wide international acceptability. I understand, Sir, that the issue will be discussed between the British and Chinese Governments in the frame work of the Joint Liaison Group. Sir, my final point is that I assure honourable members again that a full report of this debate will be sent to London so that all the points made by honourable members are taken into account when the draft Order in Council comes before Parliament.
