recommend:

Bill

for

immediate introduction I

a) that written notice of the introduction of the Bill be given on the evening of Wednesday 9 January;

b) that the Bill be given its first reading on Thursday 10

January;

c)

d)

that it be published at noon on Friday 11 January;

that the Governor be authorised to brief UMELCO on the

contents of the Bill on Friday 11 January prior to publication;

e) that we put

we put out a lobby note and press notice on the Bill but do not arrange a lobby briefing or press briefing;

f) that Lady Young should put this proposed timetable to Legislation Committee, and seek their agreement.
