You will recall that you brought several members of the Man Clansmen Association to see me on 18 October. we agreed, I asked about their case while I was in Hong Kong last week, making clear that I accepted that land compensation was entirely a question for which the Hong Kong Government was responsible.

I was told that the Man case was being reviewed by the Hong Kong authorities and that the Man Clansmen's Hong Kong representatives were in contact with the Government there about the results. No doubt your constituents will soon be hearing from them.
