Important that British companies are encouraged to remain active in Hong Kong market: particularly the major project sector, not only

only for commercial reasons but as

visible expression of UK's political and economic commitment. Understand British companies represented in

consortia short-listed for Second Harbour Crossing

project. Those involved have significant expertise to

offer.

(Hong Kong Dollar Finance) Aware that Hong Kong Government usually requires bids for major public sector

projects to be submitted in Hong kong Dollars.

Government export credit for UK exporters is subject to Treasury guidelines on wide range of non-standard currencies (including Hong Kong dollar).
