No doubt you are fully informed, but in case of interest I attach the latest clutch of cuttings from the 'establishment' S.C.M.P. (the Chinese Press is even more outspoken). Per curian I also take the liberty of attaching an exchange of letters between Colin Perrior and myself in relation to my personal situation(in case inductive) it is, perhaps, a little ironic that, currently, Colin is a centre of a storm of criticis ̈ (as per previous cutting), whereas I enjoy widespread support, from rrk and file magistrates.

I venture to trouble you in thi wy bacause the Government here is losing credibili, lmost daily it seems orbit-ry,stubborn yet capricious, and wrong bout so many matters from E.R.P. to 11 this - nd this, surely, must begin to rub off on hitchell s well as disappointing the mainlanders. But you will know b.st wheth r to cleanse the torle or not.

As ever,
