Officers of the Labour Department are now

investigating this particular accident and, in the light of

their findings, the Construction Industry Training Authority

will review the safety measures in these training centres

with a view to doing all possible to prevent recurrence of

such an accident.

The Commissioner for Labour is a member of the

Authority and will thus be in a position to ensure that the

review is comprehensive and that any necessary improvements are

made.
