Mrs. Chow : According to sources that the Consumer Council has in fact meat

is being brought in on a commercial basis. I'm just wondering whether the

Government has any plans to in fact verify that this is true or untrue?

The Chief Secretary :- All I can say, Sir, is that the Customs and Excise people

do not have any evidence that such meat is being brought in in commercial

quantities at this time.
