(4)
Additional sittings of the Legislative
Council may be held in accordance with Standing Orders
in any period after the end of a session of the Council
(other than a session that ends on a dissolution) and
before the commencement of the next session, but any
such additional sitting or sittings shall not be
deemed to be or form part of a session of the Council.
XXIB. (1) The Governor may at any time by Order
published in the Hong Kong Government Gazette dissolve
the Legislative Council.
(2) When the Legislative Council is
dissolved an election for all the Elected Members of
the Council shall be held within three months after the
dissolution thereof in accordance with the law in that
behalf in force in the Colony.
(3) Where the Legislative Council is
dissolved, clause XXIC (1) shall take effect as if the
reference therein to every third year were a reference
to every third year after the year in which the Council
was last dissolved.
