AGREED MINUTE
In a meeting between Mr Song Youming of the Consular Department
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of
China and Mr A C Galsworthy of the British Embassy in China on
14 April 1984 concerning the question of Chinese citizens
travelling via Hong Kong for private purposes the Chinese
side agreed that they would also accept those Chinese citizens
residing outside China holding ordinary passports or travel
permits going through Hong Kong to the mainland of China to
take up residence who stay over the given time in Hong Kong.
