You will wish to pass on the aforementioned to Mr Galsworthy who I believe will be speaking to Sir P Nairne this weekend. might add that I am assured that there is no way in which he could be granted a dispensation from abatement of his CS pension in these circumstances. But if he continues to have difficulties in accepting the terms of his assignment it would be useful to have a note from him outlining his problems.
