Opinion Poll

Further to my letter of 14 July 1984, I enclose a report of the opinion poll conducted in June by the Government School Non-Graduate Teachers' Union.

This report ought to be read with caution because it in many places fails to interpret the findings correctly. In addition, the questionnaire. design is open to criticism and the non-response rate is fairly high. Overall speaking, the results however can reflect the views of the Union's member- ship without serious bias.

A copy of the report has been circulated to Unofficials for information.
