Over 84% of the respondents felt that holders of future HK passports should enjoy the freedom of travel as most local residents are accustomed to it. Five percent gave negative answers while the remaining five percent made no comment.

10. Should Peking enforce stricter control on immigration to Hong Kong?

Over 65% of the interviewees said that Peking should enforce stricter control on immigration to Hong Kong. It is because Hong Kong has limited land and resources; besides, the new immigrants had brought along many social problems. 20% replied negatively while the remaining ten percent made no comment.
