Targets
Nearly 3,000 people were interviewed but only 2019 returns were received before the deadline. Late returns were invalidated.
Of the 2019 valid interviewees, 55% were male and 45% female. This is in line with the male/female ratio of Hong Kong's population.
The interviewees were categorized into old, middle-aged and young groups according to their age.
The grouping is as follows:
old over 60, middle-aged 60-40, young - under 40.
-
The age distribution of the interviewees was as follows: nearly 10% were over 60, about 15% were aged between 60 and 40 while 75% were young.
Young people formed the greater bulk of the interviewees as they will be most affected by future policies and have every reason to be consulted.
