1.9 Summing up the findings of 1.4 and 4.4
On the choice of government for Hong Kong, the opinions of respondents in all occupations were similar. Most favoured 'Hongkong people administering Hong Kong'; the next popular choice was 'British administration' while only a small minority (2.163 - 4.140) favoured Chinese administration'. It is noteworthy that over half of those who are professionals chose Hongkon; people administering Hong Kong'. (See Table 10)
