The "Chinese Association of Organizations" has not previously come to our notice. We are making enquiries but most of our

contacts are still on holiday. The address of the CAO is in Houston's "Chinatown". If we learn anything of particular interest about the organisation I shall write again.

3. I am copying this letter and my acknowledgement to NAD and FED in the FCO, to the Political Adviser to the Governor in Hong Kong and to Chancery in Peking.
