SECRETARY OF STATE'S VISIT

I enclose under flying seal a letter from the

Secretary of State to Mr Justice Jackson-Lipkin, who is an old personal friend. I should be grateful if you would

arrange for it to be delivered.

2. Mr Jackson-Lipkin has put in a bid to see the Secretary of State. We assume that a meal would not be possible but the Secretary of State would like to find a few minutes to have a drink with him if possible. Perhaps this could be borne in mind when you are finalising the programme?
