Thank you for your letters of 9 July to Sir Geoffrey
Howe and myself. Please accept this as a reply to
both. I had already read with interest the three
proposals you made during the visit which you undertook
to Peking with Miss Dunn and Mr Lee . I have also noted
the results of the SRH poll in the South China Morning
Post.
I was very pleased to have met you again earlier this
