David Davies, at present the very successful Finance Director of MEPC, is leaving next week (1st October) for Hong Kong to take up a job running what I understand is the biggest property company in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Land.

David is anxious to help us, and before he leaves would very much like to talk to someone about future policy. Richard Luce is not back until after he leaves; I wonder whether you would very kindly see him for a few minutes at the end of next week? I would be most grateful.
