Sir S Y Chung CBE
Senior unofficial member of Executive Council of Hong Kong since 1980. Member of Legislative Council 1968-79 and Executive Council since 1972. A self-made industrialist. Chairman of Sonca Industries Ltd and Grindleys Dao Heng Bank Ltd. He is in London to receive important honorary distinctions from engineering institutions.
Mr David Hunt MBE MP
General interest in Hong Kong affairs, on which he has asked a number of Parliamentary Questions. Visited Hong Kong in 1980.
The Rt. Hon. Roland Moyle MP
Former opposition deputy spokesman on Foreign Affairs. Currently junior spokesman on defence. Visited Hong Kong and China in April 1983. (Had lunch with Lord Belstead and Sir S Y Chung, October 1982).
