Distinguished Order of Saint Machael and Saint George,

Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire

in Council.

Whereas the humble petition of Chan Ngan, Tong Tig, Lam Yau

Bit, Ng Wah Shing, Lam Yip, Wong Har, Wong Chun, Wong Kam

Fu, Yung Sing, Yeung Shuen, Chu Tam Choi, Chan Shing Yau,

Chan Tit, Shek Ma Fun, Lee Kwok Shing, Lau King, Lam Ko Chau,

Yau Leung Chi, Yue Shui Sang, Lau Yam, Yeung Chau Wah and Ng

Tak Kam all of Hoi Fung District, China, showeth as follows:-

Your Petitioners are fishermen and nationals of the

People's Republic of China.

On the 9th day of March, 1981 having obtained

due authorisation from the Revolutionary Committee of Hoi Fung

District, Your Petitioners came to Hong Kong on board fishing

vessel "Kee Shuen 2371" to obtain a quantity of fishing equip-

ments that might only be available in Hong Kong.

When the said vessel was on its voyage to Hong

Kong, it was carried on board a quantity of coins in silver,
