The indictment

was indicted on the 23rd January, 1981 on two counts of
murder and one count of robbery. His trial began on the 8th July, 1981
on which day he pleaded guilty to the offence of robbery but not guilty
to the two offences of murder. He was found guilty of both offences of
murder on the 24th July, 1980.

The victims in this case were the defendant's aunt,
amah, LEUNG Kim. I was told their ages were 32 and 63 years respectively.

Hollywood Road. The youngest children were aged 2 years and 1 year
respectively. In the day time they were looked after by Mrs Ho's amah,
LEUNG Kim though Mrs Ho did not go out to work but stayed at home.

was the manager of a Chinese Herbal Company which had premises at 497A
Nathan Road and he had employed the defendant in his herbal company for
over 6 years.

July 1980 which gave rise to the defendant leaving his employment on the
15th August 1980.
