The prisoner revealed that he did not have any close relatives in Hong Kong except his two cousins (the wounded victim and the deceased). Bis friends were mostly his clansmen whom he met often for chitchat and tea. He did not have heart to heart talks with any of his co-workers but just maintained a superficial working relationship with them. He stressed that he did not have any triad affiliation at all.

PERSONS CONTACTED FOR INFORMATION RELEVANT TO THE CONDUCT AND CHARACTER OF THE PRISONER

1. Mr

prisoner's cousin and the wounded victim of the present incident, aged 25, factory worker of H.K.I.C. No. H028624)

Mr YEUNG considered the prisoner as a cunning man with bad conduct. The prisoner had been dismissed from school for several times before. Furthermore he would revenge on those who had offended him. For example, on one occasion, he broke a neighbour's window in China after he was accused of stealing that neighbour's bananas.
