IN THE MATTER of the Humble Petition of
WHEREAS the Humble Petition of
condemned
now a prisoner in Hong Kong Stanley Prison
(hereinafter referred to as "Your Petitioner") most respectfully
showeth that
1.

On the 20th day of September, 1979 Your Petitioner was
convicted by a Jury in the Supreme Court of the Murder, Contrary
to Common Law, of one Chinese male Andy Leung Kit-ying (hereinafter
referred to as "the deceased").
2.
On the same said date your Fetitioner was sentenced to
death by His Honourable Mr. Justice Power.
3.
Your Petitioner's appeal against conviction was dismissed
by the Court of Appeal, Criminal Appeal No.881 of 1979 on 5th day,
1980.
4.
Your Petitioner craves that Your Excellency may, in
exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Hong Kong's Letters
Patent find it expedient to reprieve Your Petitioner of the said
sentence of death imposed upon Your Petitioner and commute to a
sentence of imprisonment.
