Your humble petitioner has previous convictions. He was convicted in 1968 of larceny of fixture and was for that offence placed on probation for 18 months. In 1973 he was convicted of the offences of po session of offensive weapon and
membership of a triad society. Again in 1974 he was convicted of the offence of obtaining pecuniary advantage by deception. Then in 1975 was convicted of Robbery and lastly in 1976 assault with intent to rob.

Your humble petitioner accepts and avers that by killing the eceased he has offended against the Law of this Colony and morality in the most grevious manner. He accepts and avers that nothing can be urged on his behalf in relation
to the offence itself.

Your humble petitioner, however, does aver that the offence was not
premeditated and that the death of the victim resulted from a violent argument
between them. The chain of event developed in such a way as to be beyond the
control of your humble petitioner.

Your humble petitioner appeals to His Excellency The Governor to exercise the Royal Prerogative of Mercy for the act of your humble petitioner by commuting his present sentence of Death by substituting there for one of imprisonment.
