At that time I came to know two persons. We three were then rather hard up and had no money. They asked me if I had
means to get money and that reminded me of Mr. Teyfour as he
paid cash every time when he bought goods and I believed that
he carried along a lot of money. I then said to them I
didn't know whether Mr. Teyfour was in Hong Kong or not but I could check to see if he was in Hong Kong.
What was in your mind when you rang up Hong Kong Hotel to check if Hr. Teyfour was in Hong Kong ?
