I have learned of the Hong Kong emigration Department's refusal to grant Christine Vertucci an extension of stay in Hong Kong and that no explanation was given regardi the refusal to renew her visa.

I am writing to you, sir, with the hope that you kindly look into the matter and with concern for Christine that she may know on what grounds she was being refused renewal of visa extension.
