Amend certain ordinances and instruments

relating to

British Nationality consequential upon the

enactment of the British Nationality Act 1981.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1 This ordinance may be cited as the Briti sh

Nationality Act 1981 (Consequential Amendments)

Ordinance 1982 and shall come into operation on

1 January 1983.

Amendments

to Ordinances.

First Schedule.

2. The Ordinances specified in the First Schedule

are amended to the extent and in the manner specified

therein.

Amendments

to instru-

ments.

Second

Schedule.

3. The instruments specified in the Second Schedule

are amended to the extent and in the manner specified

therein.

Amendment of Schedules.

4. The Governor in Council may by order published

in the Gazette amend the First Schedule and the second

Schedule.
