Departure Group (c)

This group of 16 refugees claim to have departed from Quang Ninh Province. The group is made up of persons from various areas in northern Vietnam. Although the members of the group produced unsatisfactory scores on the Vietnamese Knowledge test they gave a generally satisfactory account of their departure and voyage.

It is suspected that this group left Vietnam earlier than its claimed departure date in December 1981. With that exception, the story is probably true.
