'report back' meeting I attended today. They appear to have been bowled over by the warmth of their reception. (I have recorded some of the more salient points separately.) A useful point for us, for example in handling future visiting Chinese delegations, was their expressed readiness to help to field any such visitors. We can also welcome the expansion in the number of MPs with a first-hand knowledge of China.
