The Hong Kong Exhibition at the Commonwealth Institute is being rebuilt to present a more up-to-date image of Hong Kong to visitors to the Institute.

It would be a great honour for Hong Kong if your Lordship would be prepared to open the new exhibit, and accordingly I now write on behalf of the Governor of Hong Kong to invite you formally to open the new Exhibit at 6.30 p.m. on 12 October. The opening will be followed by a reception hosted by The Hon. Sir S.Y. Chung, the Senior Unofficial Member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong.
