1. To see Mr Clift's submission of 25 May attached. I have spoken to Mr Godfrey Blakely of the Caymans office in London about the Caymans appeal and suggested that the money collected should be presented to the South Atlantic Fund announced by Mr Nott yesterday. Mr Blakely has put this idea to the Caymans and has also been in touch with the MOD. All being well a cheque for the sum subscribed will be presented to a senior representative of MOD on 3 June at the formal opening of the new London offices of the Caymans Islands Bureau.
