To implement the recommendations made in 1981 by.. the Committee of. Review, Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation).. Ordinance.

Progress Made & Present Position

On 1st October, 1982, jurisdiction in respect of Part II of the Ordinance (which regulates controlled tenancies of post-war buildings) was transferred to the Lands Tribunal, thus completing the process of vesting in the Tribunal those judicial function's under the Ordinance previously exercised by the Tenancy Tribunal and the District Court.
