For 1982/83, the operating capacity for full-time and part-time day courses is on the whole less than the planned capacity because the technical institutes are unable to fill many teaching posts by October 1982.
The enrolments for 1982/83 are subject to change because some classes (especially PTDR classes) may be started after these figures are taken and there is a large number of drop-outs from full-time courses at the early part
of the term.
The projected student numbers are based on the initial drafts of the Vocational Training Council Triennium Estimate (1983/84 1985/86). (Please note that "Planned Capacity" has been changed to "Projected Student Number" to
- tally with the terminology used in the VTC Triennium Estimate.)
