Consultancy work is continuing on the details of a base development strategy, taking account of the recent ExCo decision on limited development at Tin Shui Wai.

The brief for this study has been extended to cover investigations into the development of West Fanling and the transport implications of higher populations of Junk Bay and Shatin.
(d) Junk Bay
LDPC considered the consultants' draft final report, endorsed the proposed outline development plan and agreed that works for the initial area of development should proceed as programmed.

Parallel to the consultants' study on key issues, various working groups have been set up to consider such matters as the configuration of potential
